Organizational Learning



Before moving further it is better to watch following video in order to identify the organizational learning and benefits of it.

Concept of Learning and its definition  
Since inception of psychology, learning has been one of the vital topics in discussion (Houwer et al. 2013).  Widely used definition of learning can be given as a “relatively permanent change in behavior brought about by practice or experience” (Lachman,1996, p.477). Ability to learn in persons makes them open to changes and growth of environment (Saadat and Saadat, 2016).

Organizational Learning and its benefits
Definition of organizational learning provided by "Yuki" is that organizational learning is learning provided by set of organizational members.  Organizational learning has five step process which include knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, knowledge interpretation, knowledge maintain and knowledge utilization (Huang, 2010).  According to Sharifi and Eslamieh (2008), knowledge acquisition, information distribution, information interpretation and memory that affect the positive development of organization are set or organizational action which eventually relates to organizational learning.  There are many benefits that have identified by scholars which regards to organizational learning such as efficiency gained, increased productivity, increase profit, decrease employee turnover, developing leaders at all levels, increase adaptive capacity, enhance ability to adapt to change (BIV, 2014).
